After experiencing the excruciating pain of being stung by a countless number of bees, the poor dog named Stinger was left at a shelter by his own family. Sadly, Stinger, who is deaf, arrived at the shelter with severe blisters that posed a serious threat to his life.
Due to the severe condition of the dog, the shelter staff had no choice but to consider euthanasia. However, Carri Shipaila of LuvnPupz rescue in Greater Grand Rapids, MI intervened and offered her assistance upon learning about Stinger’s situation. She promptly traveled for almost an hour to take him from the shelter.
Unfortunately, Stinger’s family refused to care for him, so his savior quickly sprang into action to save his life. She tended to his stings, as well as a skin infection and sarcoptic mange that followed. Tragically, Stinger was diagnosed with Pemphigus, an autoimmune disease that he will endure for the remainder of his life.
Due to the expenses of his treatment, he won’t be available for adoption. Nonetheless, he has found a caring and permanent home with a foster family who will continue to provide him with the necessary care and therapy through the help of LuvnPupz.
Stinger has made remarkable progress since the day they abandoned him at the shelter. He’s no longer suffering from painful blisters, and his fur is now a stunning shade of white.
This adorable pup is overflowing with energy and affection, and he’s absolutely thriving in his happy new abode! Don’t forget to spread the word by sharing this heartwarming tale with your loved ones!
